Yiddish term
looking for the Yiddish term used for the relationship between my mother and my mother-in-law. Used to know it, can't remember. Thanks. -A

  • I believe it's mekhu-TEN-este (though mucheteiniste is how I would pronounce it). I think that's the feminine form. Muchetunim (pl.) would be both the father-in-law and the mother-in-law.
